Glass Heart

One of the most vulnerable things in the world is a heart.

It can easily break by feeling being apart.

It’s an organ that we use to symbolize an emotion.

An emotion used every day and in once a year it has a celebration.

A heart should be handled with care.

Trying to break it is something not to dare.

A heart is not as hard as diamond or steel.

It’s what makes us alive, can’t you feel?

A heart is not something to play around.

It’s not just a thing you could throw on the ground.

It will make a beat until it can to live,

But it could stop through words until it’s no longer active.

Once it breaks,

It’s hard to heal.

Others turn to freaks,

And most just conceal.

A heart is just as vulnerable as of a glass.

What if a heart was made of glass?

Would someone still dare to break a glass heart?

Those who dare have a cold heart.
